Day 26 - Ethan's Baseball

Ahhh...more baseball! Today was Ethan's teams' turn for a tournament. It was a little rough. They lost all games, but I am hoping that with time things will turn around and they will be winning some! That is Ethan #15!

Day 25 - Besties

Today we hung out with some good friends! Brookie (in this picture) is Olivia's Best Friend! I love these girls!

Day 24- Liv & Noelle

Today Dan and I cleaned out the garage! {Hooray for parking in the shade!} Livy had a blast taking Noelle on a trip!

Day 23 - Happy B-day Bugg!

In the hustle and bustle of my daily picture challenge(s) and moving we had a birthday in our house. My dear, beautiful, sweet, amazing, wonderful, charismatic, talented, loving, and kind daughter turned 14!!! Happy Birthday Ryleigh Bugg! We LOVE YOU!!

Day 19 - Spencer gets a Homerun!

We played a little more baseball today! It was a much better day! Two wins!! Plus Spencer had a home run!

Day 18 - Raptor's baseball

Today was a day of baseball. Spencer's club team had 2 games this evening and they lost both. It was a rare but humbling night for our Raptors but hopefully our games tomorrow and Monday will go a little better!

Day 16 - Softball banquet

Today we had Ryleigh's softball banquet at school. Here she is getting her certificate.

Her team did really well and we couldn't be prouder of her!

Day 13 - girls Lunch

Six months ago my grandma invited me and Olivia, my mom, my cousin Amalie and my other cousin Nikaela and her daughter Arabela to lunch at her house. It was nothing fancy, just a girls lunch with homemade gramma food. We had so much fun talking and catching up and letting the kids play that we have been getting together once a month at each one of our homes. It has turned into something that Olivia and I look forward to every month. Today's girls lunch did not disappoint either! Lunch has gone through the complete cycle and was back at grammas house. She had it decorated in a cute valentines theme, and she made quiche from scratch! It was so YUMMMM! Then at the end we got to take home a plate of homemade sugar cookies and these cute little valentines hearts that she made for us. Next month it's my turn - I have big shoes to fill!

Day 12 - memories

Sometimes there are things that you will miss, even when you have no desire to go back.

We lived in our last house for 3 years and we kept track of the kids growth on one of the walls. I am sad that we couldn't take the wall with us. Ryleigh finally reached 5' on that wall and Ethan was forever trailing Spencer by a mere 1/2" at one point. (Those will be the last years that Spencer was bigger than Ethan) Olivia was obviously our little bean sprout - she practically doubled in height in the past 3 years. I am sad that those memories will be erased but I am so thankful and excited to start new ones!

*starting tomorrow night I will take you on a tour of the new house, one room at a time!

Day 11 - Olivia's own room!

Okay so I seem to be skipping a day here and there in my quest to post a picture a day, but I am hoping to be better for the rest of the month especially since we are done moving now!

Today I am posting a picture of Olivia going to bed in her very own bed in her very own room! She is beyond excited and so are we! Last night was our first night in the house but we couldn't find her sheets so she had share with Ryleigh one last time. After breakfast this morning she asked me how much longer until it was time for bed!

Day 10 - Keys!

We are out front of our new house today waiting patiently (as patiently as possible) for our KEYS!!

Day 8 - Ry Softball

Ryleigh has been playing softball for the 8th grade team at highland junior high this year. Today was their last game of the season. They played a great game! The score was 0-0 until the bottom of the 6th (last) inning when the other team scored the winning run to advance to the championship game. We were all really proud of the girls and all their accomplishments. I felt bad for bugg after the game because all the girls were talking about playing as a team next year as freshmen at Highland but Ryleigh won't be with them. I think for the first time she had a little twinge of sadness about leaving this home/school behind.

Day 6 - Gramma Kaye

Dan, Olivia and I went to visit Gramma Kaye in the hospital today. She fell on Saturday (her birthday) and broke her hip. She is scheduled for surgery tonight. 7:40 to be exact. This is a picture of the beautiful flowers that Keith, Codie & kids sent her with gramma in the background.

Day 4 - packing

Packing! We are officially moving in less than a week and I feel like life is in full chaos mode. Boxes are everywhere and all our stuff is slowly making its way into them. Hooray!
