2004

My sister Andrea and I lived together in 2004. Dan was in Iraq and I decided to move home to Arizona to be closer to family while he was away. This was a fun and hard year. The kids were little and SUPER cute! Ryleigh was starting 1st grade and Spencer was in Preschool and Ethan and I hung out together durring the day.
Anyways, Andrea brought me over a stack of pictures that she just recently had developed (yes, she was still using film back then!!lol) and they were all from that year together. I couldn't pass up the opprotunity to show off how cute my kids were (and still are) and how much fun we had that year.

Ethan was an Elephant that year for Halloween and Ryleigh was a cheerleader for my little brother, Chad's Club baseball team (they were called The Lumber Company)

My sister Kristi and I gave Ryeigh a perm that year, but it must not have stayed because I don't ever remember her hair being curly. This picture is of Spencer on his first day of preschool. Dang he is cute!

My Sisters and I were 80's working - girls for Halloween that year. This was so classic. We found these fantastic dresses at DI for less that $5 each!

I need some ideas

Alrighty - I am trying to muster up any ounce of desire that I have to start walking (and some day turning that into running and maybe even further down the road - full on exercising!!!) and of course I can't get started unless I have the perfect playlist for my pod! So I am in need of some tunes that will totally help get me pumped up! I like ALL music so I am having a really hard time narrowing down some songs. I currently have about 3000 songs on my Ipod and going through it and picking out the best pump-you-up songs is just overwhelming! So HELP!! What songs work best for you?

Smiles

WE HAVE SMILES!!

Four Kids

Someone once told me that once you have 3 kids, you could have 30 kids. It is all the same after 3. A constant handful. They were lying to me! Four kids is CRAZY! I feel like a mad-woman half the time. Saturday was my first outing into the big crazy world with all four kids and no husband. Oh dear. The poor people at G.I. Joe's (the sporting store here in town) were probably silently praying for me to leave. Livy was being her usual fussy self, so I was stuck holding her and of couse when mom is holding the baby the boys see this as a perfect opportunity to try out the latest (and $200.00+) bats! Then when I go to take the bat from Ethan he -real quick - pops Spencer in the head with it! Thankfully there was no blood or broken bones, just a little bruise and thankfully Spencer feels very little pain so he just laughed it off. I am sure that the more I do it the more comfortable I will feel out in the wild. Wow, is all I can say. I totally admire those women that have tons of kids and still manage to keep it all together. They are my heros!

Update

okay, so I have been laying Olivia on her tummy when she sleeps at night and guess what?!! I am a new woman! She has been sleeping anywhere between 7 and 9 hours straight! I am so happy and I feel so rested. It took a night or two for me to not panic so much about it, but I am loving this now! Thanks for the advice.
