Bi-Polar

Okay, so Oregon weather is bi-polar. Over the weekend we were under a "Heat Advisory" (don't laugh you Arizonians) it got up to 102*. That is FREAKING HOT especially when you don't have any air conditioning. It got up to 94* in our home! We were dying here. We were going to go to the pool but the swim suits were in the washing machine and Ethan was getting impatient so he decided to stop the washer when it was nearing the end of the cycle so then it had to be re-started. By the time our suits were done it was too late in the day and I had to get ready for work. bummer... really.

On a side note: Our friends Brandon & Amie had their baby on our miserable day, and I am so excited for them. For the first time in over a year I wanted to be in Killeen, Texas in the worst way. We miss you guys.

Our garden is slowly making a recovery. Some of the tomato plants were unable to make a comeback but overall I think they will be okay. My gramma wanted to see some pictures of what we have going on - so this is for you - my favoritest gramma in the whole wide world! I love you!!

Getting big!

My baby is going to be 6 months old on Thursday and I can't believe it! Where has the time gone. She is so wonderful, and now that she can roll to wherever she wants she has been so much happier! We have been working on sitting up the last week or two and she has it down - for the most part. She just has not figured out how to get out of the sitting position gracefully. But now, all of the sudden she is thinking that she wants to crawl! She has been getting on her hands and knees - of course she only stays up for a second or two - but jeez! We are not done with sitting yet - can't she just slow down.

End of the Season

Baseball is finally at a close. Last night was Spencer & Ryleigh's last games. Ethan had his last game last week. I love the baseball season - the smell of hot dogs in the air, sunflower seeds by the bucket, bottled waters - the weather is starting to get hot! oh, wait except for one small problem - this is Oregon. This was the site at the game last night (JUNE 10Th!!):
