Baseball is finally at a close. Last night was Spencer & Ryleigh's last games. Ethan had his last game last week. I love the baseball season - the smell of hot dogs in the air, sunflower seeds by the bucket, bottled waters - the weather is starting to get hot! oh, wait except for one small problem - this is Oregon. Ah, Jeni. You are a woman after my own heart. I love baseball too! Ammon's allstar team is practicing in the evenings and it was 96 degrees last night when I picked him up at 10 p.m. After tonight's practice they are having a huge water fight! Ain't America grand? I remember feeling how blessed we were when I sat at one of Ammon's games knowing Daniel was off in Iraq protecting us all. It somehow didn't seem fair we were having so much fun and there were so many having to be so far away doing such dangerous things. But thank goodness there are those willing to do the job. I'm just glad my boys were all protected.
