4 Months!

I am still in shock that my baby is already 4 months! It is funny really because - knowing that she is going to be our last baby makes me really enjoy all of these little milestones and I just want to enjoy everyday, I don't want her to get big. With the other kids I was always excited for the next step, I was always ready for that first time they rolled over or I couldn't wait for that first step. But this time around I want time to slow down and I want to enjoy these moments because they are passing way too quickly! Speaking of passing moments - this week she started rolling over from her tummy to her back and she is now giving kisses. Man, I love her.

Tulip Fest

This weekend we finally had some sunshine!! YEAH!!! We actually had a record high of 84*. It was amazing. So naturally after 6 months of cloudy rainyness we decided to go on a sunshiney adventure.

In Woodburn, Oregon every year a place called Wooden Shoe Farms opens up their farm for the month of April for the Tulip Festival. Unbeknownst to us this is a pretty popular attraction in Oregon. The Farm is off of a 2 lane country road, so therefore we were travelling in a single file line of cars. It took us 2 hours to go 2 miles! It was crazy! It was one of those moments where by the time you realized you were in the car that long you didn't want to turn around, but then if you would have known that you would be in the car twice that long you WOULD turn around. Nevertheless, it was a fun experience and the flowers were absolutely beautiful.

The website myheritage.com is so much fun! I was having a blast uploading pictures of my family and seeing who we all look like - here is some of what I did!

Softball

Ryleigh finally had her first Softball game of the season on Monday. Honestly I thought it was going to get cancelled because of weather, but nnoooo - instead all the kids and parents stood in the freezing cold rain. Gotta love Oregon. She did pretty good for her first game too! I was really proud of her. She played left field and even though nothing got out that far she did a great job of backing up the third basegirl and the shortstop. I can't wait to watch her play in warmer weather! Hopefully soon.

So Pretty!!

oh yeah, we pierced our 3 month old! It was slightly traumatic but it was over quickly. I was having real reservations about doing it at such a young age but after talking with Ryleigh about it we decided that it was better at a younger age - before the memory takes hold!

We got Ryleigh's ears pierced when she was 3 years old and she still remembers it to this day! Up until about 2 years ago she wouldn't let anyone even touch her ears! Therefore, we decided it would be better to do it when she is little. Besides, today she is fine - (actually 10 minutes afterward she was fine!).

P.S. We love the bumbo!!
