Today was a blissful spring day here in Killeen, Texas!! We has these crazy winds that were blowing my kids over, slamming the car doors onto us when we were trying to get out of the car, and blowing trampolines into neighbors yards! This place was down-right crazy!! This wind was so crazy that it even caused a "controlled burn" to get out of control!! We had to leave our house for a few hours because it was getting to close to our neighborhood gas station that they thought it might blow up! I took a few pictures of this interesting event in our boring central Texas lives. The picture of the smoke behind the houses it right down the street from our house, then there is one that is taken at the end of our housing development, and the one with the car in it is THE SUN!! It was so smoky outside that you could literally look at the sun without even needing to squint, and then of course I threw in some pictures of the kids trying to play baseball at the park. Better that weather than tornado's eh? That is amazing. I thought the wind in Queen Creek was bad.
Where are the kites? You oughta get those kids some.
