I am finding it really hard to comprehend that I am the mother of a 9 year old!!! Where does the time go? Seriously. My mom would always say to me " I remember when you were born like it was yesterday..." and I thought she was a crazy lady!! But it is SO TRUE!!!!!! I am so lucky to have Ryeigh in my life! She is a great kid and I love her so much. She just needs to stop growing.

I can so relate to this, Jeni. Everytime my children (and, now, grandchild), take a leap toward inependence, I want to scream "NO!!!" and cling for dear life! I know they're better off taking those steps, blah, blah, blah... but I kind of wish it didn't have to be so. Still, I love every stage, so I try to be calm.

Wow you should see how much more grown up she looks from those of us who don't see her everyday. She is growing up into a beautiful, bright and wonderful girl. It will be wonderful to watch how she continues to grow and what she grows into.
